Not sure where to even begin to describe Yosemite. Pictures don't come close to doing this place justice. Beautiful. (And, once again, a lot of my photos are on my other camera, which I will have to upload once we get home.)

2900 miles
We just thought this was one of the most dangerous pumps ever. Don't know if you can see the fuel that is leaking out. And yes, the pump handle went back on the wooden spool. But, this was the only option for miles.
We are currently driving through Nevada, nearing Reno. We'll make it to Yosemite sometime tomorrow and stay there til at least Saturday.
KIRA & TJ: This is just for you. I forget to mention it in my last post. Uncle Toddy wanted to let you know that some of the rocks in Arches National Park look like dinosaurs took a big dump on them. He knew you would like that. :)
Arches National Park, Utah
We left Durango Monday morning and stopped to visit Arches National Park in Utah. We got to Salt Lake City Monday night. Today we are going to do a little sight-seeing and then head to Yosemite. Not sure how far we will make it tonight.

Durango & Silverton
Friday we walked around downtown Durango. Durango is very dog-friendly and almost every store had a dog inside to greet us. I miss our Remi girl like crazy, and Stetson boy too, so I took full advantage of getting my dog fix. Durango is beautiful and very green, earth-friendly. So, add that to dog-friendly aspect and you can guess I love this town.
Saturday morning we got up early and drove to Silverton, CO., an old mining town. Once again, the views were amazing.

Saturday afternoon we went floating down the River with Logan Riggs & his brother Sam. The water was freezing, but we lucked out with nice weather.
Animas RiverSaturday night we went over to Riggs' house and then out with some of his friends from BP.
And the above pictures are why my birthday present was a hangover today. Yep, 27 years ago today, the world was graced with my prescence. :)
We're headed out early tomorrow and will make stops at National Arches Park, Moab, and then onto Salt Lake City, Utah.

1600+ miles
Internet has been spotty so sorry for the delay in posting. Today we drove from Colorado Springs to Durango. There was a couple times I grabbed the "oh-shit" handle during the switch backs, but it was worth it for these views.
We made it through Kansas & to Colorado Springs Tuesday evening. The highlight of Kansas was the windmills, so I will spare you those photos. We started our day on Wednesday at Garden of the gods.
Then we got sucked into this tourist trap.

But, we felt right at home because they had this.
We didn't ride for obvious reasons. Who needs to wait in line when you can walk out into the backyard? Don't worry Mark, I took more photos of other trains for you, as always.
We ended the day with a drive up to Pike's Peak. I spent a good portion of that trip gripping the dashboard and hoping we didn't drive off a cliff. Mom, you would have had a nervous breakdown.

On the road!
Our trip is officially underway! Nothing to report so far. Unless you count the girl who almost merged into us because she was busy texting. Yet another reason Todd should enjoy when I want to yell "No texting & driving," at people on the Lloyd. :)
We just spent the night at a rest area last night, along with some truckers. We should be to our first destination, Colorado, by evening.
